  33.      Provo, Utah., -- February 10,1993--Novell, Inc., announced NetWare Lite
  34.      v1.1 for DOS and Windows, an upgraded version of its award winning
  35.      desktop networking solution, which provides users with a means of easily
  36.      managing their network without having to leave Windows.  NetWare Lite
  37.      v1.1 for DOS and Windows provides users with seamless integration of
  38.      NetWare Lite peer-to-peer networks with the Windows graphical environment
  39.      and is an easy to user, inexpensive networking solution for small
  40.      business and departmental workgroups within an enterprise network.

  42.      "Users who have asked for improved Peer-to-Peer desktop integration with
  43.      the network and its services now no longer have to exit Windows to DOS in
  44.      order to perform network management functions.  And with the new
  45.      interface, when a desktop server exits Windows, the network still remains
  46.      fully functional," said John Edwards, executive vice president and
  47.      general manager, Desktop Systems Group.  "NetWare Lite is a strategic
  48.      product within Novell's NetWare Desktop Systems strategy where our goal
  49.      is to help users leverage their desktop investments and increase their
  50.      productivity by connecting them seamlessly into the networking
  51.      environment across all platforms," he said.

  53.      NetWare Lite is an ideal solution for users who need to communicate
  54.      between departmental workgroups within an enterprise network, or between
  55.      desktops within small businesses because NetWare Lite can be integrated
  56.      with NetWare and its suite of robust and comprehensive services.  By
  57.      incorporating NetWare Lite into small workgroups or within large networks
  58.      working in the DOS or Windows environment, and can better utilize
  59.      existing desktop hardware and software resources.

  61.      NetWare Lite v1.1 for DOS and Windows allows desktop resources to be
  62.      shared on the NetWare Lite network, and the entire NetWare Lite network
  63.      to be managed from any network computer.  Through a single login, users

  65.      have access to all resources and servers on the network.  In the event
  66.      that a server on the network exits from the network, NetWare Lite will
  67.      automatically reconnect all prior connections when the server is rebooted
  68.      or power is regained.

  123.      version of NetWare Lite v1.1 may upgrade an entire network for $30 by
  124.      calling 1-800-UPDATE1 (1-800-873-2831).

  128.      Windows bundled with DR DOS 6.0 for a suggested retail price of $129.00

  132.      as Eagle, Ansel, ZComm and Xircom.  The starter kits include NetWare Lite
  133.      networking software, LAN cards and cables.  Various third party
